Is this a dagger..etc, etc

Wow.

So after three and a half hours of queuing yesterday morning, I got tickets to the opening night of Shakespeare in the Park's production of Macbeth.

Liev Schreiber (of the Scream films, Sum of All Fears, the Manchurian Candidate and The Omen plus a load of other stuff) played the title role, while Lady Macbeth was played by Jennifer Ehle (best known as Elizabeth Bennet in Pride and Prejudice opposite Colin Firth's Darcy). They were both outstanding - and the rest of the cast, many of which I'm sure a more cultured man would recognise.

The entire play was great, and I think that I'll be hard pushed to see a better version of the play any time soon (although Gill was a bit upset that Liev Schreiber didn't get his shirt off as Sean Bean had done when we saw him in the role a couple of years ago).

All in all an excellent day - again.

Plus, I bought a kettle and a coffee maker.

Still no cups though....
